Dealer notes

This 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible is finished in Crystal White over Saddle leather, a striking combination with only about 220 produced that year. It rides on 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. It presents well overall, with the paint showing minor age-related flaws but maintaining a strong shine. The convertible top is in excellent condition and operates smoothly at the touch of a button. Under the hood, the hand-built 4.6L DOHC V8 delivers 305 horsepower, sending this Cobra from 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and through the quarter mile in 13.99 at 101.6 mph. On the road, it accelerates cleanly, shifts smoothly, and offers the unmistakable SVT exhaust note that made these cars special. Inside, the Saddle leather seats have been reupholstered and look fantastic. The dash is well preserved, and comfort features include power windows, cruise control, cold A/C, and a JVC AM/FM/CD unit with USB. The Carfax shows consistent maintenance history, adding confidence to its mechanical condition. With only 2,509 Cobra convertibles built for 1996, this is a rare piece of SVT heritage that turns heads, drives beautifully, and delivers the open-top Mustang experience the way Ford's Special Vehicle Team intended.
