BEWARE FLORKE AUTOMOTIVE! They are worse than your average shady used car dealers they are beyond shady. Bought a used Ford Edge for my 18 year old daughter, was SPECIFICALLY told 'this car runs great' 'there are no issues' 'everything works great' Test drove the car, seemed to be fine, less than one day after driving it off the lot, the check engine light came on and we noticed the heater was not working. Let Florke know, they were first of all very rude, only offered to let THEIR mechanic look at it after I threatened giving them bad reviews. Their mechanic had it for about 20 minutes and said 'the heat works fine, come and get it' Took it home, no change. Took it to Twin Falls Automotive(who by the way are great) who told us that the head gasket is blown, repair or new engine will cost more than the car is worth. Said this issue would have been there when we bought the car and that any mechanic who looked at the car would have known about this. Called Florke to give them an FYI that they had sold me a worthless car and was told that 'this is why we sell as-is' and that it was up to me to find any issues prior to buying the car. Now, I get that buying a used car is hit or miss, you get what you pay for etc, etc. My problem is, why tell us that the car is sound? Why would you knowingly sell a car knowing that its not going to run for long? After dealing with these people I can tell you, they are out to scam every dollar out of anyone they can, they are not honest, they are rude AS SOON as there are any issues. They will swindle you any way they can, do not give these people your business.
