Dealer notes

The 2018 Porsche Macan AWD arrives with a documented service history and personal-use background, and that kind of provenance matters more on a Macan than almost anywhere else, because a well-cared-for German performance SUV ages very differently than one that wasn't. The turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with a dual stainless steel exhaust and powdercoated tailpipe finishers delivers the eager, responsive character that made the Macan the segment's benchmark from day one, and Porsche's all-wheel drive system keeps that engagement fully intact through an Illinois winter without ever feeling like a compromise. White over gray is a clean, timeless combination, and the lip spoiler, LED brakelights, and black bodyside insert give this Macan the understated aggression that separates Porsche from every other badge in this class. Slide into the gray interior and the Macan reminds you exactly what the badge is supposed to feel like. Tri-zone automatic climate control with rear A/C, dual front LCD monitors, and a hard disk drive media storage system create a cabin that feels genuinely special rather than merely well-equipped. Rain-detecting wipers with heated jets, a sun visor strip on the windshield, and deep tinted glass show the kind of engineering thoroughness Porsche brings to details most other brands treat as afterthoughts. This is the SUV for the driver who wasn't willing to trade genuine sports car feel for daily practicality, and never had to. HD Radio, satellite radio, and a full suite of active safety features round out a package that makes the Macan as easy to live with every day as it is rewarding to actually drive. A documented-service, personal-use Macan with a clean ownership story at this price point is precisely the kind of entry into genuine Porsche ownership that buyers who have been watching this segment recognize as increasingly rare. Come see it at Carlux in Waukegan and feel what sets the Macan apart from anything else in Chicagoland at this price.
